I block a website in my inbox that i thought was giving free stuff but it gets sending me spam mail?

i block
the website will the spammers know my email is active what should i do?

This is the many ways to get rid of it.

Usually just clicking on SPAM when you receive the message will direct it to your SPAM FOLDER and any subsequent emails from this person will go there…if that doesn’t work try below….

If you are using yahoo classic OR all new mail…..
Go to "Options" It is above your email
Click on "Mail Options"(More options…if in All New Mail)
Click on SPAM
Enter the address you want to block
Click on “Add Block”

On occasion the sender changes their name BEFORE @ so block that DOMAIN the following way…

If you are receiving several emails from the same domain, but various ID’s, the easiest way to stop them is to enter the domain into your "Blocked Addresses".

In Yahoo! mail, to block the senders domain (hotmail.com):
◘ Click on "Options, upper right corner of mail page".
◘ Then "Mail Options".
◘ Click on "Spam" from the list on the left.
◘ In the "Add a blocked address" box, enter the domain (only the part of the email address AFTER @, do not include @). Note: I have recently seen where you should have the @ included…try them both.
◘ Click the "Add" button.

Now, any email from that domain, no matter what ID is used to send it, will be blocked.

FINALLY…do not forget to click on SAVE CHANGES at the top of the page……

NOTE: there is a limit of 500 addresses in the Block Address box. There may come a time where you have to go in to this box and delete some.

In addition you can use your FILTERS to send them to the trash or spam folder.
…..click on OPTIONS…MAIL OPTIONS…go to the left side and click on FILTERS…once in click on CREATE OR EDIT FILTERS…then click on ADD…place the site in the box and click on ADD FILTERS..NOTE; this was the only way I could get rid of Yahoo!groups..
Also, when trying to add addresses in the BLOCKED ADDRESS box it will not allow just names…usually has to have a ".com" or something similar following the name. Filters allow you to send just the names you see in your inbox prior to opening the message in to the Spam folder..

If you have a PC, then use PC suite and take a backup of all your SMS, (and other details like phone numbers etc., too). If you dont have a PC, then most of the Cell phone operators offer phone backup, but that comes with a fee/charge. Speak to the Customer Care number, they will guide you. You can store your SMS in the company’s server. But you need to pay a hefty sum for that. Using PC Suite is easy and free.

please elaborate your question … you can forward mails from yahoo hotmail … your own imap /pop company name account … what exactly do you want to forward i.e from which mail box / system /site to which mail box /system /site …

How can I get messages forwarded from my website into my inbox not bulk?

My geocities website has a link to my e-mail address. Everything that comes in thru there goes into my bulk bin not my inbox. How do I change that? I tried entering it into my addresses but it doesn’t accept the address as valid. Now what do I do? I don’t want to miss the messages but I also don’t want my inbox clogged with spam. Any solutions?

Are you using Yahoo e-mail??
Click on you Bulk Mail, and at the top, click on Edit Settings for your SpamGuard

Either turn it off
or
Reset Filter and "retrain" your spam guard.

I found numerous dating website emails in my boyfriends inbox?

ok from the start….i had a feeling there was something my boyfriend of 1 year wasn’t telling me, so i hacked into his email account (i know this was wrong) and found some dating site emails there. I got into his dating site and found emails from the last 2 1/2 years to women all over Aus, telling them they were gorgeous and too bad they lived so far away and some other quite dirty emails, the weird thing is that the pictures he had up were not of him, they were of some model looking guy and when i confronted him about the account he said he was embarassed and that it was his alter ego and that he was sorry and he could never meet up with these women because he doesnt look like the guy in the pic. He promised he hasnt cheated on me since we have been together. I have a 5 year old son to a previous relationship and have a mortgage, work full time and study part-time so my life is pretty full on. I wish i had never hacked his account as now he is saying he doesnt know what he wants as all of his friends are about 5 hours away and he has no friends in the city….what should i do….As you can see i have alot riding on this relationship and have numerous responsibilities and he has absolutely none, he lives with his parents and they pay all the bills, he doesnt even know how to cook!! We actually found one another on a dating site and i honestly thought he was the one……now im not so sure

This guy has nothing to offer you or your child. You pay all your bills while he still stays at home with his mum and dad.

Latinitas

I was pleasantly surprised to find out about Latinitas through an email that popped up in my inbox announcing an upcoming fundraiser. As I clicked through the website, I realized that the organization works with Latina girls in empowering them to create all forms of media that reflects their identity in a positive way. Their online magazine is a place where girls can write about their experiences growing up and also get advice. Latinitas also has an afterschool outreach program that allows girls to create projects with tools that aren’t easily accessible to them otherwise.

Sean and I went to a couple of afterschool workshops and found Latinitas taking pictures of things that symbolize meaning to them. When I asked a student why she liked being a part of Latinitas, she replied that she gets to use technology that she doesn’t have access to at home. Many of these girls come from families that can’t afford to have computers or digital cameras and these girls really cherish the time that they do have to work with them.

Founder Laura Donnelly wants Latina girls to know that they are important and can make a difference. She informed me that the image of the Latina woman is still associated as being the underclass woman. She wants Latina girls to know the difference and have the confidence to reach out to their community in a positive way. Many of the girls were shy when I interviewed them so I had Laura talk to them in front of the camera, which helped. Even though I didn’t have a computer growing up, I now can’t go home without using it for something –it’s kind of like my foundation for communication/information. It touched me knowing that these girls want to spend their extra time to learn something new and make something meaningful.

Eventually, Latinitas will distribute hard copies of their newsletter so more girls can become aware of the organization.
