Help! I have lost a whole folder of Outlook Contacts!?
January 16th, 2010 | by admin |I was backing up my Outlook Personal Folders last night and accidently opened up MS Outlook whilst the back-up was in progress. Now when I open up Outlook and look for my Contacts one of the sub-folders of contacts is gone. Instead there is a grey pane with the following message:
"Unable to display the folder. Errors have been detected in the file C:\DocumentsandSettings\User\LocalSettings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\outlook.pst. Quit all mail-enabled applications, and then use the Inbox Repair Tool."
I have followed these instructions but even after using the Inbox Repair Tool (which end with a confirmation message that the Inbox has been repaired) the subfolder is not displayed.
Please help I need these contacts urgently!!
