How do I add an additional e-mail address to my Microsoft Outlook e-mail account?
January 29th, 2010 | by admin |I already have an e-mail address I’m using on Outlook. However, I want to add another, my yahoo address, so I can check all my -mail in one place. How can I do this?
Unless you have a paid subscription to Yahoo! Mail, you can’t add it to Outlook. The free stuff won’t work with Outlook as you cannot authenticate to their SMTP servers to send mail.

Hi,
If you have Yahoo! Mail Plus (which is well worth the $20/yr), then follow these instructions:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/mailplus/pop/pop-06.html
If not, Yahoo! blocked this a couple years back but, by using YPOPS!, it’s still possible. The following article illustrates how to configure Outlook:

Here’s more configuration info from the YPOPS! site:

And here’s the YPOP’s download link:

First the e mail service must support the use of a mail client like Outlook. Many free services do not permit the use of a mail client – because they have advertisers fund the service – and promise the advertisers viewership. Were the service to permit the use of a mail client, the ad would not be seen. Check the e mail service to make sure it supports the use of a mail client like Outlook. While you are doing the checking, you need to get the smtp server name and the imap or pop or pop3 server name which would be available from the e mail service probably where it discusses the use of mail clients. Check also for the need to authenticate the smtp server, the use or non use of SSL, and the port numbers.
Secondly you must have your exact e mail address and its password.
Armed with the mail servers, port numbers, etc, the e mail address, and password, open Outlook, then go to tools, then to e mail accounts and then to add a new e mail account. You fill out the respective information very much like you did for the first e mail account and you are in business.
