How do you perform a mail merge in word and then transfer it to Outlook so an emails can be personalized?

We are doing a mail merge and have never used email addresses yet. We are trying to write the document in word and then transfer it to Microsoft Outlook so we can then put in the email addresses so the letters can be personalized to the individual. How do you perform all of this, step by step please.

I don’t know of any way to do this. Word’s Mail Merge is very paper-oriented (much of Word is), usually creating either individual letters or labels. Making independent emails out of the merged records may not be possible.

Sorry.
