How to use Word 2002/2003 Mailmerge Wizard to print Avery Labels using Outlook Contacts

One of the most requested training sessions requested by clients is how to use the MailMerge feature in Word to Print Labels, using contacts from Outlook Address Book. You can visit: http://www.sierratech.org to view more videos. Word 2002 (XP) simplified the MailMerge function from previous generations of Word, by performing many of the steps for you. We train our customers to use Outlook as the default address book, which can be accessed by several applications (although Outlook 2007 changed its architecture which prevents applications such as WinFax from accessing its data).

    You are most welcome! I prefer using Outlook as the data source since it should be your default contact manager, and you don’t have to create a separate address list in Excel. Good Luck!
