Learn Access -1- Perspective : English French Portugese (music: Doug Clark Steiger “These Hands”)

June 11th, 2010 | by admin |

Before we dive into Access, we will put it into perspective with other types of applications (thank you John Mishefske for this idea)

If you learn an application in each of the following categories, you will have a well-rounded foundation on which to build:
- Word Processor
- Spreadsheet
- Database
- Graphics and Multimedia
- eMail and Communications
- Web Browser

click the “HQ” button for high quality

*** TRANSLATIONS ***
Portugese: Luiz Cláudio (Microsoft MVP, Office)
French: John Viescas (Microsoft MVP, Access) http://www.Viescas.com

*** CAPTIONS ***
turn Captions on or off:
mouse-over the triangle button in the lower right corner of the viewing window — then CC or the icon for captions. To translate, mouse-over the left triangle from CC and click the language you desire.

you’re welcome and thank you, Ozair, I appreciate your nice comment! I see you also subscribed so you are notified when I post new tutorials, thank you again.

The next video is taking more time (4 days so far) because I am still deciding the best approach — and making lots of original drawings to illustrate what you need to think about when you are Planning a Database.

In carpentry, it is “measure twice, cut once” — but, with Access, planning is everything — more like “measure 50 times!”
