Hey Fellow Windows 7 User, if your like me, you probably love your new windows 7 operating system. But its hard not to notice it does not have a stand-alone email account, like outlook express for XP. This is a video showing you exactly how to safely download Windows Live Mail, which is the successor to Outlook Express.     @troublekn if you have them backed up on another drive, you should be able to connect them with you computer and import them to live mail. if not, then i have no real idea how to connect outlook express stuff with the new live mail. i hope this helped a bit.

    my system crashed and I am forced to use live mail which is horrible. I am using windows 7 64 bit , anyone know how to get my old mail files from outlook express to work with this new horrible mail >? I have them backed up on another drive
    any help would be greatly appreciated

    @cerable hey, it’s alittle hard to understand you from your comment, but basically your old computer crashed, and you backed you’re old emails up on a USB IDE? Now you want to access these files, but you only have read-me only files? if you give me more information id be glad to help, but its hard to understand you from you’re comment.

    how can I get outlooks emails open on windows live from another computer that something went wrong and had to get new one. I have hard drive out and linkjed up with a USB IDE adapter and can look into those files but can not get them to open so I can see them. Any help would be a Great help and a video would be even better . Thanks alot.
