my outlook mail doesnt work when i go out of office though i am connected to the VPN.Any suggestions?

I have synced my outlook mail to my phone. It works fine. But the outlook client in my computer works only when i am in the office.
I am not getting an error. The outlook is disconnected. It asks for my password and when i type it in and press enter it asks me over and over again
