Not able to open outlook 2007( can any 1 help me on this it’s urgent.)?

This message is coming: cannot start Microsoft outlook. cannot open the outlook window. the set of folders cannot be opened. errors have been detected in the file c:\Documents and settings\Administrator\local settings\Application Data\Microsoft\outlook\Outlook.pst. Quit outlook all mail-enabled applications, and then use the inbox repair tool (Scanpst.exe) to diagnose and repair errors in the file.For more information about the inbox repair tool, see help.

On the Help menu, click Office Diagnostics.

Click Continue, and then click Start Diagnostics.

In Outlook on the menu bar > Click Tools > Accounts > Highlight your email address > Upper above Click Repair button. This will take a few minutes or more to finish.

How can I get my mail back into yahoo mail and out of outlook?

I was trying to send an email and the outbox opened in Outlook. I sent it from Outlook. Now I’ve lost the ability to retrieve my inbox mail from earlier in the day. This happened the other day too. And I haven’t used Outlook for mail in over 2 years, prior to this

You can look in your Trash folder on Yahoo Mail, all mails should be there. Click Check all and than Move to Inbox. If you have hundreds of messages try to change in mail options to show more than 25 mails on each page. This will save you some time.

Need help merging e-mail accounts with Microsoft Outlook.?

I recently set up a Mail.com account and need to sync it with outlook. I ended my email address with @workmail.com but I do not know why it doesn’t work with outlook. Does anyone know the information that i could put into the Outlook set-up to make it work. Any help is appreciated.

You need to find out whether mail.com supports POP or IMAP for retrieving your mail. If it does you’ll need the appropriate settings such as server name etc. Just entering your own @workmail.com address won’t work on it’s own.

i use sbcglobal online. I need outlook to send a mailmerge?

Can I just set up outlook, import the excel contacts into outlook, do the mail merge and then stop using outlook? I want to keep my other emails with sbcglobal online mailbox.

Setting up Outlook doesn’t stop you from keeping your mails online as well. You just need to remember during set-up to go to Tools > Account Settings > Change > More Settings > Advanced tab > check box to say "Leave a copy of messages on the server".

Looking for an email mail merge that includes attachments, cant find a way through outlook now looking for a wayw through excel or viztopia

Mail Merge in Outlook?

JJ asked a question about this. MB gave an answer which did not work out for JJ. Now I am having the same problem with a new installation of Outlook 2003 and I cannot find ‘letters and mailings’ either. MB must have been thinking of Tools in Word not in Outlook when he gave that answer. I did use Mail Merge in Outlook at my firm for years, also with Outlook 2003 and it worked. It was not very straightforward: you had to import a list of names and addresses from Excel, import the text from Word, both with all kinds of provisos and little tricks that you had to be very careful not to miss. But now I cannot even find the Mail Merge folder in Outlook 2003. Do you have to buy that separately from Microsoft or is it included in Outlook 2003 and so well hidden that neither JJ nor I could find it?

You need to be in your contacts folder for the option to appear in tools.

Make JJ pay you 5 bucks for finding the answer.

Microsoft Outlook 2003 is not working?

I got an e-mail on outlook that said "failure notice" and i tried to delete it but an error message popped up saying that their was an error and that i needed to repaire outlook. so i followed the directions the error message told me to and used the Inbox repair tool. it scanned outlook and found a few errors and i clicked "repair" and an other message popped up saying something like "there is already an aplication there do you want to continue". I said yes and it said it was repaired.

but now whenever i open outlook it says it is "not responding". How do i fix this? any suggestions?

Using yahoo mail with Microsoft Outlook?

I have a friend who uses Yahoo mail via a browser. She would like to use Microsoft Outlook for email. How would she do that?

That only works if you upgrade to the PAID version – Yahoo Mail Plus at $19.99 per year. Then use these settings:

Incoming mail server settings

POP server: pop.mail.yahoo.com
Use SSL
Port: 995

Outgoing mail server (SMTP) settings

SMTP server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Use SSL
Port: 465

Use authentication

Account Name/Login Name: Your Yahoo! Mail ID (your email address without the "@domain.com", for example, “jo.bloggs”)
Email Address: Your Yahoo! Mail address (for example, jo.bloggs@yahoo.com)
Password: Your Yahoo! Mail password

How to link or open my yahoo mail to microsoft outlook?

In test account setting, i got an error message says: that your email sever rejected your log in. I don’t have the password from the service provider. I think this is the problem that’s why i can’t configure my outlook.

To set up Outlook you use the same password you normally use to access Yahoo on the website.

Your problem may be that you’re using a FREE Yahoo account. Yahoo only allows POP3 access in Outlook for those who upgrade to the PAID service – Yahoo Mail Plus.
