How do I add my website to google?
January 23rd, 2010 | by admin |How do I add my website to google? I made mine with weebly. I verified it, what does verify mean, but nothing happened. Please help me!
As soon as your site is available on the Internet, you can submit it to Google by completing the add URL form at:
http://www.google.com/addurl.html
Another way to be listed, and to raise your page rank too, is by getting other websites to link to yours. After that, when Google’s robots or spiders, known as Googlebot, crawl the web, they should run across your site within a month or so. There are two types of crawls, fresh crawls and deep crawls. Your site most likely will first get a fresh crawl in which only pages Google deems most important are crawled. After Google runs a deep crawl of your site, most, if not all of the pages on your website that contain links from other pages will be crawled and subsequently listed on Google, except pages that are included in the file robots.txt, which lists pages that you don’t want Google to crawl and pages containing code that Google is unable to parse.
Hope that helps!

Actually, although you can submit your website to Google through the add URL link that another person provided, that’s not the best way to get it indexed. The best way is to have a link to it on a page that Google visits. Why? Because spammers overuse the add URL link, and Google doesn’t appreciate that. An easy way is to post a link to it from a Craigslist.org page, because Google indexes that site all the time.
Keep in mind that submitting to Google doesn’t mean that your site will be found. To be found, you must first optimize your page. Here’s some basic information about optimization: http://www.foregosystems.com/search_engine_optimization.html. There are literally billions of web pages…help yours be found by going the extra step.

theres a very easy way to get your website submitted to 1000s of search engines. Theres a website called availableforever.com and it has this private system that can submit a site to multiple search engines and they charge a very low fee because they recieve 1000s of customers a day and they own the system so there is no third party.
