How do you create a button on a Website that allows the user to Add the Website to their favourites?
June 16th, 2010 | by admin |I am making a Website about Windmills in Nottinghamshire and I have seen these buttons on different Websites I have been on in the past, but I can’t work out how to add one to my Website.
I am using Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 to make my Website, so how do I add one of these buttons?
Thank you for any help.
Sorry but that seems a pointless addition – even my galloping on for 80 year old dad, who’s only just got his first PC quite recently, knows how to bookmark a page.
It’s not a difficult skill to master

Daniel,
Well, for my website http://www.freesmartphoneapps.org I use wordpress and get a plugin, but in your case, you can make an image, this image could say something like "favorites", then make it so that when some one clicks on it, the image takes them to a URL to make it thier favorite.

On the right of the screen, click on Tools – Toolbars. Make sure you have selected Menu, Command and Status toolbars. Where up on the left it says File, Edit, View, Favorite, Tools Help. click on Favorites with the web page open and it will save it to you Favorites.
It is there in IE and similar in Firefox, only they are called Bookmarks.
