How do you made a website where people can add comments and pictures?
February 8th, 2010 | by admin |I’m making a website in memory of my best friend and want to make it such that her other friends can add pictures and memories of her. Not sure how to go about it. Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks.
powweb has community forum scripts,.. so basically you install the script, then it creates full forums in seconds + many other types of scripts in the public domain
they can come in handy and are exactly what youre looking for, it is pretty easy once you get to learn how to use the admin panels on each of the scripts

Might sound cheesy, but Yahoo Groups can do all of those. They let people join and comment and add pictures, without having to know an account’s password except their own.

You’ll need a webhost that lets you set up databases. Then you can use server side scripting languages like PHP, JSP, or ASP to access, edit, update that database.
I haven’t shopped for free webhosts in a while so I’m not sure that there are any available that give you databases and server side scripting. But, there are a number of hosts that you can get for 2-4 bucks a month that’ll give you more features than you’ll ever need…

there are special scripts for that..you can find it for free if you search…it’s quite easy if you know what you are doing..try to search for "chat" or "guestbook" or "forum" scripts. or ask a webdesign company..
