Nicholas Nip Youngest Chess Master in History

9 year old Nicholas Nip is youngest chess master in US History beating Bobby Fischer’s record by 4 years. On the Regis and Kelly show he plays 5 adult chess players including defending armed forces champion all at the same time. Nicholas is part of Academic Chess program in San Francisco.

    uh no. there aren’t …
    uh no. there aren’t 208,089,907,200 possible chess positions, that’s like the first 3 moves or something. There is calculated to be about 10^127 chess positions in like 40 moves. That’s 10 with 127 0′s after it. Just so you know. That’s more than the amount of atoms in the known universe.

    For interests sake there are 208,089,907,200 possible chess positions. Please just take a moment to contemplate such a massive figure.
    As for the typical mouthy ‘plastic’ people who interviewed him…. are these suppose to be professionals??
