the water vapor is a result of solar heat….. having said that if there were no solar heat the vapor wouldnt be there in the first place…. the vapor itself is a by-product. (Hot air condensing into water vapor in cooler tempatures in higher altitudes.) The energy isnt in the vapor, the vapor is merely riding the winds caused by the solar heat….
