There is an actual ANTI-plenty of fish website that was recently made a few months ago. I forget the exact name, but go to google or yahoo and type in :

Plenty of Fish sucks

In one of the links below, you’ll find the ANTI-plenty of fish website. There are TONS of people on that site who discuss their MANY negative experiences on that site.

Also, I feel Dwayne made a good video here and shows off one of the many problems with POF. WHEW !!! Okay, I’m done typing for the entire year. LOL !!

In conclusion, I would NOT recommend POF to anyone (despite my recent good luck with that girl). That message I wrote five months ago? Honestly, I will agree that even if that average guy in the video that Dwayne made was a Brad Pitt look a like and had 30 pics and a NICELY written profile, he would STILL get his assed kicked on POF. It IS possible to meet a nice girl on that site, but your chances are LOW and frustration is HIGH (like playing a crappy video game). Oh, and one last thing…..

As for the REAL …
As for the REAL accounts of girls on POF, I PERSONALLY meet THREE in some of my college courses. Were they shallow? OH YES,but towards EVERYONE. Two of them hated the OTHER FEMALES at my college more than the guys in the class (and they HATED the guys). they were stuck up and pretty much were loners. I did meet ONE really nice girl from there last week who I’m hanging out with tomorrow, so they do exist on POF, but they make up maybe 5% (or less) of the female population on POF(CONTINUED)

It could be MORE …
It could be MORE than 40% (which wouldn’t surprise me) but to anyone here who might have gotten only two messages in a three year period (like the guy below) it’s NOT your fault. There is a STRONG chance that the MAJORITY of the profiles you messaged weren’t even real profiles. Who the created all these fake profiles? I suspect it’s the guy who runs the website, but I don’t know. Could just be a load of BORED random people who want to make a fake profile, just for fun (CONTINUED)

I’ve actually been …
I’ve actually been OBSERVING that website CLOSELY since I wrote that message five months ago..
There is something SHADY as going on with that website. I won’t get into the whole thing since I don’t have SOLID proof (VERY hard as to get solid proof I can show off), but at least 40% of the female profiles on that site in MY area alone are (were) NOT real. They are FAKE accounts where the photos were stolen from other websites like Myspace.

It wouldn’t make …
It wouldn’t make any difference. Even if the guy in the video had like 30 good pictures of himself and a beautifully written profile, those same women would still reject him. Most women on there are shallow as a grave. Even if you have the same interest as that woman, if you ugly or descent, she would most likely block you or just ignore you.

online dating is outcold, I have got dissed a lot. But I also have had a lot of victories for myself by achiving my goal to make friends. I have had some intresting times with meeting girls from online. But usually if your real about things and up front, the average person will either deny you because there not real with themnselves or tthey will accept you because they are real with themselves and can sense you are too.

I hope I wasn’t to harsh with my last comments…
because here is the thing…
while I feel that your fake profile is a BELOW average guy, I WILL agree 100% that YES, these results are actually VERY accurate for even ABOVE average looking guys on this site.

Have you thought about trying out a few more fake profiles of various guys? Try a guy who would be considered a “Hotty” (think brad pitt level) and compare it to a fake profile of a GIRL that’s BELOW average.

Well, as much as I HATE (and I mean HATE) Plenty of fish, I do have to agree that the fake profile you made up is actually an example of a BELOW average guy. The way the profile was written made the fake profile guy come off as a bit pathetic. Plus, that picture of him was NOT a very good picture (the lighting was HORRIBLE !!) and only ONE picture? No girl is going to message a guy with ONE picture. They wanna see what the rest of him looks like, not just his head.

I’ve gotten laid …
I’ve gotten laid off of POF. But so what? POF is a waste of time. All the girls on POF are cumdumpsters. Most of them are looking for a husband, or already have kids. Then, they also lie about having kids. A lot of them have already been married and divorced by the age of twenty-six. Who wants to waster their time on like that?

thats not an average guy, the profile makes him sound desperate. im only a bit above average looking, some girls say im cute and i only had 1 girl make the first contact. they just want you to make first contact to show you have confidence. if you message them with something friendly and witty about their profile i found that i got a return rate of a bout 25/30. some people are just stuck up but most are really friendly if you can break down their barriers.

You’re right on …
You’re right on that issue. Women will get the majority of emails in the online dating scene. While a guy has to work 5x’s as harder to try and meet somebody. The woman just has to sit back and take the pick of her choice of choices of guys coming at her. If the majority of women had to work very hard to approach a guy. I don’t think they’ll like it as much.

its hard to meet someone on this site. The problem is that since its free, girls are gonna get bombarded with emails. everyday they get tons of emails and have to sit there and go through all of them only to keep getting a ton the next day.
