in the internet options &gt; programs tab &gt; email - click the down arrow, do you have aol email application here?
because i don&#039;t know much about aol email program, never used it
if you go to control panel &gt; add/remove &gt; add/remove windows components &gt; disable or unchecked the box for outlook express &gt; next and finish.&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;References : &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description>

		<description>It could eb possible to have it do this but the reason that outlooks express opens is because it is set as your default email client.  You can set up outlook express to interact with your aol account ex.send and receive mail with it.  Although I would use thunderbird, as it is a much better program than outlook and can be set up easier.&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;References : &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description>
